Jonathan Ames is the guest. His latest book is called You Were Never Really Here (Pushkin Press). It has recently been adapted into a major motion picture starring Joaquin Phoenix. Ames also writes for television, having created the shows Blunt Talk, starring Patrick Stewart, and Bored to Death, starring Jason Schwartzman and Zach Galifianakis.
